Cremation is the reduction of the deceased's body to ashes at a crematorium, with the remains returned in an urn. On the Sochi coast, residents of seaside neighborhoods, visitors from other regions, and families spread across the country often choose this option.

Ashes do not prevent a dignified farewell: a panikhida at a Sochi church, funeral rites, or a viewing hall. After the procedure the urn may be buried at Sochi Cemetery, placed in a columbarium, or sent to the deceased's homeland.

You will also need a cremation application, the organizer's passport, and a certificate confirming no pacemaker is present if one was implanted. Metal implants are removed before the procedure per safety requirements.
